Firstly back to your initial question: on the Alesis there are 3 distinctive banks. There are two banks called bank0 and bank1 available for your patches. The preset bank is not visible for you using Qclicks and contains non-erasable patches. You have the choise to store your patches in bank 0 or bank 1. I’m assuming you have particular patches in bank0 stored making bank1 available for the Jpatches.

Developing patches is very time consuming and, with exception of our Jpatches and related hardware and software, are only available ‘at cost’/sold items. This ratio and the amount of users of the product you’ve mentioned is key if patches will be developed. Also, in most cases, modern equipment is not fit to be used to emulate vintage gear. That’s a different story but correct!

While we’re on the subject – is there any reason why there are no echo patches available for TC Electronic’s D-Two? Would this unit be a perfect candidate as a Shadows echo machine?

Hello,

I’m not quite clear as to how to store the JPatches in the Q20 user bank 2 without deleting my own echos which are in user bank 1.

Bank 1 contains the factory defaults. User bank 1 is being used by my own stuff. So I want to store the JPatches in the user bank 2 which is completely empty. How do I tell Qclick or the Q20 to write the JPatches to user bank 2?

It’s a VST module, you need to check there site. It’s pending the DAW you’re using if VST is functional. Gr. Piet

NOP is an abbreviation for programming steps not used. in this particular case NOP stands for a dutch saying being ‘for free’!! They are developed by a famous dutch guitar player Namreh (hint: Nivram being revers for Marvin -;). They are regarded as top notch quality!!

The Qclicks software developer did never extend his program for modern operating systems. I’m not sure if it’s correct but could you not set a compatibility flag in your program’s parameter

Barry, you’re too nice to me! It’s a joined effort by ‘the gang’. It was good to keep it a bit obscure and we all could’ having the cheap programmers, reprogram all my almost daily updates on the EEproms. I recall the tape-noise, the W&F ever ongoing discussion until the point I was ‘forbitten’ to touch my code again Piet
