The final approach taken is a dual approach. In many cases the guitar player is not interested in fine- tuning an echo device but would just like to select a recommended setting and play along with it. For this type of player the preset manager is loaded with a extensive set of pre-programmed patches ready to be used. In other cases where the guitar player requires matching the exact echo with the echo that was used to record the track from his/her favorite artist. The eTAP Engineer VST module is the assigned module that fits this requirement as it allows customizing the various filter and timing characteristics in minute details.
The emphasis for eTAP is geared towards the vintage echo's used by H.B. Marvin during the 1960- 1965 era. We believe "from the man himself" that the early recording are made without the Meazzi gear but with some sound- engineering tricks.
The mentioned vintage echo gear allowed the Shadows to sound like the recording while performing life. Our approach would allow also for a fine tuning towards the "studio delivered" echo's. The VST module presented here allows for those two mentioned approaches as it will act as a normal vintage device emulator or can be fine-tuned to your specific needs.

Detailed Infinity on Gersic:
I was part of a group of guitarist who helped the makers of this plug-in to tweak the classic sound of the Meazzi and Roland Space Echoes. This is a pro unit meant for serious surf music and Shadows era guitar multi-tap echoes. Forget the rest this is is an engineered studio quality pug-in.
JMeijer on KVR:
I originally tried out eTAP alongside a series of other delay plugins, both commercial and free, in an attempt to find a nice tape delay emulation. In terms of usefulness and quality, I'd say that the eTAP is the equal of the Tape Echo GS-201 and some other commercial plugins, which is a strongly positive recommendation. It doesn't really have that very unique sound of the GS-201, but it has its own flavor that is quite distinctive and musical.
The best feature of the eTAP is the number of excellent presets for approximating a variety of vintage tape machines. Most of the presets are low feedback and help to increase the density of a drum loop or add a nice tape slapback sort of sound to guitar. However, it's easy enough to midi learn the feedback knob for more extreme effects and play with those in real time.
The sound of the delays is free of digital artifacts even when changing settings; the knobs are smooth and could be manipulated in real time. It sounds convincing in a mix with physical instruments (e.g., live drums, guitars, etc.). Because the saturation and tape wow can be controlled by the user, it's quite useful for nice clean delays or for grittier broken down tape machine effects.

Ist ein richtig gutes Tape Delay mit Saturator. Ich teste das gerade und bin echt angetan, wie schnell und einfach sich damit interessante Arpeggios bauen lassen. Also los, ziehen.
Thanks guys!!
