Normalizing the resulted wave

The main objective when measuring resulted waves obtained through sending the calibrated test waves through an echo device (or other device) is to apply a form of normalizing. This is to assure the exact ratio's between pulses are understandable and can be used with trust in all activities related to adjusting/calibrating your device under test.

In this following demo the objective is to adjust the 440Hz dry pulse = 0 dB ( first pulse in the 440Hz+5EQ+Sweep+4EQ+WF_Burst (all -6dB) file) so the pulses obtained from the replayheads are correctly measured against 0 dB making it much easier to work with then random amplitudes:
