Test waves

Testwaves are the main instruments to measure if the patch works the way it was designed. Although the emphasis is on the Alesis equalizers it is fit to be used by other systems.

Sweep

Log Sweep 63Hz-16Khz

6dB burst

All frequencies in one sequence -6 dB with 440Hz as first burst. The remainder are in the same sequence as the EQ filters in the Alesis

In most cases the EQBurst is sufficiant to establish exact filter settings as it provides burst for 3-pole and 5-pole equalizer settings. Furthermore, the sweep is an ideal pulsetrain to adjust the patch as a first iteration before the single burst per frequency is to be used for the fine-tuning.
