Welcome to the RFX2000 JPatch echo controls settings and JPatches!
This site is dedicated to a group of guitarist playing the music of Hank B. Marvin and the Shadows. The vintage echo's used in this type of music is accurate emulated through the Zoom RFX2000 echo with our own JPatch echo library.
In order to assure that the Zoom community can use the exact settings for the available backing tracks this site offers a common understanding of the required settings. Moreover, this site allows the user community to share the information so both the availability and the quality of the settings are always kept optimal.
The Zoom RFX2000 is a DSP version of the tape and disc-echoes like those that were used by Hank Marvin in the past and programmed by: Jacob Heijer

How to install the patches:
Firstly the RFX-200ED named editing software is required from http://www.zoom.co.jp/english/products/rfx2000/ . There is also a manual if required.
When installed on your computer this program allows you to load the patch file to the computer.Using the editor you can move the patches to other places. Remember to save this new set under an unique name. It is possible to load patches from different sources and combine them to your liking. The Zoom should be connected to your computer by means of a midi connection so when you've completed the activities on the computer you can upload the patches to your Zoom directly.
note: RFX-200ED works with Windows XP and also with Vista (assuming Vista is with correct driver)
We hope that you enjoy the patches!
