Welcome to the Yamaha Magic Stomp Jpatch echo controls settings and JPatches!
This site is dedicated to a group of guitarist playing the music of Hank B. Marvin and the Shadows. The vintage echo's used in this type of music is accurate emulated through the Yamaha Magic Stomp echo with Jpatch echoes programmed with great care and precision by Jacob Heijer in the Netherlands.
In order to assure that the Yamaha Magic Stomp Jpatch community can use the exact settings for the available backing tracks this site offers a common understanding of the required settings. Moreover, this site allows the user community to share the information so both the availability and the quality of the settings are always kept optimal.
The Yamaha Magic Stomp is a DSP version of the vintage tape and disc-echoes like those that were used by Hank Marvin and others in the past and developed,programmed and tested by: Jacob Heijer . the Netherlands.

There are 2 sets of patches organised in 2 Library’s.
The library Jpatches Yamaha MagicStomp V2.2.ub9 contains 95 patches in the following order:
01 – 94 The (fixed) Patches for most of the Hank Marvin and The Shadows songs.

95-98 Empty Patches
A Reverb. Patch
The library Jpatches Yamaha MagicStomp V2.2-M.ub9 contains also 95 patches in the following order:
01 – 94 The (adjustable) Patches for most of the Hank Marvin and The Shadows songs.
Some of this patches are adjustable with the knobs on the MagicStomp.

99 A Reverb. Patch
The structure of the library is based on 12 basic echo patches representing different vintage echo equipment or with different head selections for that particular equipment. Those prime patches are all starting with the letter P (Parent). All further derived patches are coded with the letter C (Child), those are the patches witch have different echo amplitudes and/ or repeat values..
